Hello Families, It’s my pleasure to have the opportunity to work with you and your children. I currently reside in Carpinteria California with my husband and almost four-year-old son, River. We enjoy creating, spending time outdoors, roasting marshmallows over the fire and making good food together.
I’ve had a lifelong passion for art and grew up with a number of artists around me. I received my BFA from Maine College of Art in 2006 with a focus in Metalsmithing and an art history minor. My husband and I drove cross-country from Portland, Maine to Venice, California in 2011 where I furthered my passion for teaching by going back to school. I completed my Core Units from Santa Monica College in 2013 while teaching in LA. In 2018 I founded @thelittlestudiola to further share my love of art with kids.
